Mission:
To support and enhance the physical and emotional well-being of disadvantaged children by providing products and services not otherwise provided by levels of government, insurance or other organizations. Children are usually referred to the organization by a health or social care professional.
Programs include Angel Hair for Kids and Kids Life-Line. Types of help include, but are not limited to, the following examples:
- Medical equipment (durable)
- Limited in-home nursing care or therapy
- Required short term therapies
- Ground transportation
- Parking permits for hospital visits
- Medication not covered by government or insurance
- Dental procedures not covered by government or insurance
- Specialized or needed furniture and equipment
- Wigs/Hats

Cancer View Canada connects Canadians to online services, information and resources for cancer control. It is an ever-evolving portal that brings together resources for cancer prevention, screening, treatment, and supportive, palliative and end-of-life care.
Through its collaborative tools, Cancer View Canada also links people in the Canadian cancer community to each other.

Shine Through The Rain does many things but all in the service of one goal. That goal is to help those who are affected by life threatening illnesses. Whether it’s through services or funds we seek to provide guidance, support, and financial aid to those in need. We help adults, children, and families find the silver lining. When things seem gloomy and you’re being rained on we’re here to help you shine through it.
The Rainy Day Fund provides emergency payments directly to the utility companies and landlords, ensuring that each patient has a warm, safe place to call home while recovering. The Rainy Day Fund also provides grocery gift cards & hospital transportation and parking costs. Shine Through The Rain also reviews special requests for consideration above and beyond the scope of services already covered.
