"My mom passed from CML in 2005 after a long fight 15 years with Myelofibrosis. My little cousin now has lifelong disabilities after a hard fight with AML. And now my good friend is winning his fight with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.
What motivates me to support the LLSC are the thank you’d I receive from the donations over the years. So many stories come up whom they know with a form of LLS, lost a parent or sibling etc. Otherwise quiet and private the stories are constant reminders to embrace life and those we cherish around us.
You will never regret being engaged and making a difference. Even if, like me are a bit shy to try new things, there is always a personal lift of satisfaction. And the organization is a wonderful full of support.
