Marc is a recent marketing graduate who is now working as a Medical Communications Specialist for La Roche-Posay at L’Oreal Canada in Montreal. He has many personal and professional connections to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada; including having been a motivational speaker for the Teams in Training program in 2016; having been one of the main contacts at Pfizer Canada for the Light the Night walk during his internship; but most notably as a three-time blood cancer survivor himself and through the loss of his father to the disease. Throughout his most recent battle where he received a bone marrow transplant in 2015, Marc adopted a motto that was passed on to him by his late father. This motto, “Win The Day”, reminds him to redefine his own personal limits every day and to pursue his goals, no matter the obstacles in his way. He hopes to bring this mantra to the Young Ambassadors Committee to make a difference in the lives of Canadian blood cancer patients and caregivers who are either fighting their battle or who are trying to live with their “new normal”.
