You’re not alone! And we’re not alone either - The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada partners up with different foundations, charities and organizations. These partners work with us to create, sponsor and fund a range of initiatives to help us achieve our mission to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
We’ve recently received a very generous grant from Variety of Ottawa – the children’s foundation. Without this support, we would not be able to provide the much-needed support programs to children and youth affected by blood cancers. We will be able to be more present in schools, sensitizing children and adolescents for these diseases, and at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO), supporting parents that are battling with their little ones.
Variety of Ottawa is an organization dedicated to enriching the lives of special needs children, and their families, right here in the National Capital Region. With Variety’s help, these families are able to access the equipment, treatment and therapies their children need to lead happy and productive lives.
Since 1999, Variety of Ottawa has assisted thousands of families, directly, and through our partnerships with organizations like the Ottawa Senators Foundation, CHEO, The Ottawa Children’s Treatment Centre, The Boys and Girls Club and many more.
