I began volunteering with the LLSC Calgary office in December of 2017. Once a week I head into the office and assist with any admin duties that may be required. I am also a member of Team in Training, I will be participating in the Calgary Marathon, 10KM distance.

I was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in 2016. I went through a stem cell transplant, which lasted about 1 ½ years. I am now currently starting new chemotherapy.

This motivates me to get more involved with the LLSC to find a cure for this terrible disease!

I have participated in the Light the Night Walk, which was truly a most memorable experience.

I encourage everyone to get involved and that there is no amount too small that will help save someone’s life!
