I volunteer with the LLSC in Montreal by bringing crafts and donated breakfast goodies to the waiting room area in the oncology dept. at the Children’s Hospital. Chatting with the families over coffee and snacks (and sometimes a hug) helps the families pass the time and gives them the opportunity to share their stories if they want to, both with us and with each other.
