Operating Grants

In 2021-2022, the LLSC has partnered with the Cancer Research Society through their Operating Grant completion.

The Cancer Research Society (CRS) is a national not-for-profit organization whose sole mission is to fund research on all types of cancer, thereby contributing to the advancement of science aimed at preventing, detecting, and treating the disease.

The Operating Grants Program is the principal means by which the Cancer Research Society (CRS) fulfills its mission to support fundamental, early translational and environment-cancer research on all types of cancer to contribute to the advancement of science aimed at preventing, detecting and treating this disease.

The CRS Operating Grants Competition takes place every year and is open to researchers across Canada.

LLSC has committed to partner on the CRS 2022 Operating Grant competition to fund 10 grants that focus on advancing the understanding of and improving treatment options for all blood cancers, and have a particular interest in projects focused on myeloma.
