Returning to work or school after cancer treatment can be challenging. Whether you are thinking about or planning a return, already back at it or wanting to take your career or education in a new direction, this webcast will help you think through the big and small issues that may arise. Following the presentation, you will hear from adolescent and young adult survivors on their first-hand experiences with returning to their new normal and how they navigated the challenges of transitioning back to work and school.
Ian Scott (RSW, MSW) is a social worker and the AYA (Adolescent and Young Adult) Psychosocial Clinician at CancerCare Manitoba (CCMB). He provides counseling to young adults and their supporters. He also facilitates the monthly young adult cancer support group and is involved in different initiatives at CCMB to improve care for young adults. He is a member of the CPAC AYA National Network.
