In this webcast, nurse and psychotherapist Bonney Elliott addresses the psychosocial impacts of living with a chronic blood cancer on quality of life, stress, and social and family relationships.
Bonney Elliott has been working as a cancer coach at the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation since 2013. She sees people living with cancer and caregivers for one-on-one health and wellness coaching. She has facilitated groups for children who have a parent living with cancer, for those rebalancing life and work after cancer, coping with cancer-related brain fog, and for caregivers who have lost a loved one to cancer. She teaches a therapeutic yoga class called Yoga Thrive. She is a nurse practitioner and registered psychotherapist who has worked in pediatric oncology, community and Indigenous family health, and private counselling practice.
