September is Blood Cancer Awareness Month
Every year, more than 24,500 Canadians will be diagnosed with a blood cancer. Over 2,500 of those Canadians are from British Columbia.
The mission of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada (LLSC) is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
You are supporting us in that mission!
It is thanks to supporters and partners like Urban Fare that we can support patients and their families through their cancer journey.
How you can ask for donations
By asking for $2 at the till, you are supporting life-saving research and putting vital information in the hands of those affected by a blood cancer.

Light The Night
Each year, communities across Canada come together to bring light to the darkness of blood cancers. This year, on Saturday, Oct 24, we will gather virtually to create memorable moments across the country, through an exciting and interactive virtual experience. We’ll share stories, remember loved ones lost and pay tribute to our heroes, bringing light, love and hope to dispel the darkness of cancer and COVID-19.
We’re very excited to announce that Urban Fare will be a part of this inspiring evening, furthering YOUR support of the blood cancer community!
