In these difficult times, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada is here for you. You may be alone in your home, but you are not alone in facing blood cancer during a pandemic.
Being part of a community can help us to feel less alone by reminding us that we’re not the only ones facing these struggles. It’s also a chance to give back to others. Reach out today. The LLSC offers two ways to give and get support from others who understand what you’re going through.
New: Virtual support group
Find support from the comfort of your living room by connecting with others who are facing blood cancer. Build connections through group discussions and share coping methods and practical information. Meetings are professionally facilitated.

First Connection – Peer support
Want to connect with someone who understands your experience firsthand? We’ll pair you with someone who has had the same type of blood cancer as you. Whenever possible, we’ll also try to match you in age and treatment type.
Our volunteers are trained to share their stories and remind you that you’re not alone.
To try First Connection or for other ways to get support, contact your community services Manager.
