Sylvan Learning Centers in Calgary, Saskatoon, Regina and Winnipeg are partnering with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada to support children and families who have fallen behind in school due to treatment or the cognitive lasting effects of treatment.
The Sylvan Learning Centres are offering: 50 hours of tutoring, a detailed academic assessment, a tutoring plan personalized to his or her exact needs, and 24/7 access to additional educational resources online.
Who is Eligible: Pediatric blood cancer patients in treatment or who have undergone treatment.
Program Cost: Free.
